Going Dutch!

Hope you managed to catch Dale's slot on vbnavradio last night, a really good relaxed interview, interspersed with a good helping of classic and new BB tunes.

So Thanks to vbnavradio for that. A good music mix from the station generally, you can pick them up at http://vbnav.hopto.org:90/.

Indeed immediately after Dale's departure last night we were reminded of more youthful years with "No Sheep Til Buxton" and "Beer and Sex and chips n gravy" a couple of "classics" from the infamous "Macc Lads"

Dale of course had to shoot off to the The Bulls Head at Belper Lane End for his weekly open acoustic night.

Whist we are talking Bulls Head, the special BB Blackdog brew, from the attached Shottle Farm Brewery is approaching readiness, so look out for that soon!

Just a reminder that the weekly slot at The Bulls Head does not resume until Tuesday December 3rd now.

The extremely plausible reason for the short break being, that Dale and Axel are heading for The Netherlands and beyond for two weeks.

They will be joined in Arnhem by Sven, who is resuming low bass duties for the European commitments and Lord Monty, who will return to Derbyshire with BB for the remainder of 2013.

Saturday the 16th see's the second edition of Emporium Vernesque, the foremost Dutch Steampunk festival, which BB enjoyed immensely when the played the inaugural event last year.

It looks like an excellent day with a packed programme, including, market, workshops, lectures and some seriously good film screenings, culminating at 5.25pm with a screening of Georges Melies 1902 silent classic "Le Voyage Dans la Lune" accompanied by live music from Dutch band Boudewijn Zwart.

No timings yet for the live bands, it is however known though that BB and LMJIII will be joined by fellow UK band Pocket Watch, the Dutch "Schwarzblut" and the German band "Drachenflug".

There is also dancing courtesy of Aziza Belly Dance and DJs XLII and Kwoad will step in with a few tunes.

A superb day at the twin venues of The Willemeen and Luxor on Willemsplein, close to the rail station in Arnhem, for only 12.50 Euros. http://www.emporiumvernesque.com/?lang=en.

New show added to kick off the German leg on Wednesday the 20th at Hexenkessel in Oldenburg in Holstein.

Shows follow at  The Altn Zolln in Lubeck and Café Coma in Bad Segeberg on the 21st and 22nd.

Another addition at Kiel's Palenke on Monday the 25th. All show are replete with Lord  Monty's "Steampunk Funk Bizarre"

Still free on th3 23rd and 24th if anyone knows of a venue within reason of the Holstein region.
