Another nice shot from the recent photo shoot, featuring the full cast.

No live appearances this week, so a well earned break for the band and a chance to have a reflect on the year so far and a look ahead to a busy second half of 2012.

Whilst it is fair to say that the last two months, unbelievable rainfall, has had it's effect on numbers turning out for some shows and the actual cancellation of one festival, the larger part of the year has been a good story.

Mention should go again to the departing John Ferguson, to whom well is wished in the future and a big thanks to Mike Bower for making a seamless transition.

The biggest story of the year so far, goes to the trip to Denver and Texas, taking in a couple of steampunk conventions. Really well received during the period spent in The States and plans already being formulated to revisit next year, with an expanded itinery.

Back in the UK extemely promising involvements with the innuagral events, Steampunks in Springtime down in Cornwall and The Steampunk Summer Solstice at Wirksworth. Also clocking up the miles at venues old and new. The Black Market at Warsop, now the third most visited venue at eight and Wakefield's Snooty Fox at nine, both catching up with The Matlock Bath Fishpond at ten, which will be visited again later this year, after a years absense, now reopened after a major refit.

Most obscure gig of the definitely belonging to the all night, Club Antichrist steampunk event in London, complete with dungeon et al!

Upcoming highlights include next week's appearance at The Rock And Blues Festival, Pentrich with a big crowd assured and Onboard The Craft at South Wingfield, featuring headliner The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown.

Big steampunk occasions, The Journey Into Steampunk at The Workhouse, Llanfyllin near Oswestry, The Asylum weekend at Lincoln and Matlock Bath Steampunk Illuminations

Miscellarium a pot pouri of steampunk, goth and sci fi at The Seaburn Centre in Sunderland.

A whistlestop tour of Northern Germany, featuring Oldenburg, Lubeck and Hamburg, steampunk showcases at The Shed in Leicester and The Roadhouse in Birmingham and also just announced, A Steampunk Christmas Party at The Snooty Fox, Wakefield, on December 22nd, free but limited availability, so join the facebook event if you want in.

One last piece of stop press. Axel's ever present stage friend, Steam Vader,(try and conjure up a trumpet fanfare in your head), now has his very own facebook page! http://www.facebook.com/steam.vader
